It's sad with the stock tune it hits
Work with a tuner who has experience tuning Mile cars. May be more than just the tune though, probably some mechanicals that need to be up to the task.
Thats what I was looking to find.....I figured someone in nh or maine would have experience being we do have the maxton mile from the east coast timing event right in maine...

PP1 doesn’t have a diff rad.

Not sure on PP2 (but I suspect not).

Pretty sure the Shelby’s and the Mach 1 have them.

That's surprised the hell out of me I had no idea about some of those options.....I would say I would like to have optioned out for the 10 speed that actually goes to red line in every year..... Not that the tune won't fix that

There are legally sanctioned open road races where you can run in classes from 110-160mph continuously for 60 miles. People talk about foing a couple of pulls in a row, but what about running 5500-6500rpm for 30 minutes straight to maintain a 120mph speed.

You should check some of the torture tests Ford did on the engine. They ran the engine at peak power for days, not 30 minutes.

120mph is ~3300rpm in 10th gear with 3.55s...these cars can go forever at 120mph. I’ve driven mine pinned at the electronic limiter for nearly 25 minutes straight.

“We were in the left-hand lane, driving at a comfortable speed—a little over the 75-mph speed limit—but you could already hear the rumble of the exhaust coming from the back of the car, sounding like a pack of growling pit bulls. Ashmore started pressing down on the accelerator: 110 mph, 120 mph, 130 mph. What had been a pleasant blur of forest outside my window became an indistinguishable mass of green. Ashmore kept pushing: 140 mph, 150 mph, and the car's top speed of 159 mph. The hood started to shake, the mirrors rattled, and the rush of wind outside mixed with the sound of the engine to produce an overpowering roar. “It's getting lovely,” Ashmore said. We passed by cars doing 80 mph that looked like they were parked. Ashmore had spent five or six hours at this speed, during a stretch of more than 30 hours in which he barely slept.”

He drove for 25 hour 55 mins, an average speed of 108 mph with 5+ hours on the 159 mph limiter ...

climbing rapidly to a speed is the fun part.....I would be falling asleep doing 120mph for 60 miles on a huge highway...on the bike I'm sure it would more fun though.......

Buy a large life insurance policy before attempts...
maybe it's from riding motorcycles most of my life but 120 mph doesn't seem that quick my bike traps 148 in a quarter mile let alone doing a high-speed run
