For anyone interested in protecting those insanely expensive (and backordered) carbon fiber rims (or any other rim), here is what a full set of the advanced wheel lock system lug locks look like on my CFTP GT500 wheels. Typically, a set of these would include one lock lug for each wheel, but my OCD can't handle mismatch very well on something like this, so I went overkill and got a full matching set of 20 lock lugs. Unfortunately I've been through wheel theft before (2011 track pack Brembo wheels with McGard locks), so my trust with traditional wheel locks is gone. These are the first lock lugs I've come across that seem to be reasonably difficult for thieves to do anything with (check out their website advancedwheellocks.com to see the various videos).
One thing that I really like about these is how well the lock key "bites" onto the lug - I don't foresee stripping a lug being an issue (the key is quite easy to get on and work with as well).
I'll add that we beat this car up pretty good at the race track for two days over the weekend (about 200 miles or so of track time) with these installed at 140 ft/lbs and had zero issues with them swelling, coming loose on their own, or being able to break them free and torque them back when needed.
I've included one photo below - the last one - of what it looks like if you go the route of one lug lock per wheel (which honestly doesn't look too bad IMO but would still drive me nuts - no pun intended) for anyone interested in that setup.
As an FYI, the stock, 2020 mustang GT lug option is what these are (not the aftermarket wheel option). The full matched set ran me about $650 and came with 5 extra lug locks and a total of two lock keys and a number of ways to get another key if these are misplaced. I think a single set is around $150.
