I like to disassemble things.

Precision cut flanges, mandrel bent stainless tube, fixtured and tig welded assembly. Latest in thermal management wrap technology/design and installed perfectly. About as far from "ghetto" as possible. Nice hardware there.

Thank you.
Some people are just so clueless. At least have some idea of what you’re talking about before you go spouting your mouth off.

But anyways, After those long tubes were installed I now call the car a “Sexual Trumpet”
That’s honestly the best way I can describe the holy music that it makes.

Same, nothing wrong with a proper wrap job. Problem is a lot of folks don’t know how to do a “proper” wrap job.
I myself prefer Jet-hot (even though it’s stupid expensive) but only because I like the exposed header look.

"Is it worth it to wrap headers?"

"ABOVE: Using exhaust wrap on header pipes and exhaust pipes helps to insulate them and reduce radiated heat. This also raises exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) which increases exhaust gas velocity and improves engine performance. It also helps to reduce turbo lag and spool time on turbocharged applications."

Well after much back and forth decided to purchase a GT500. Found a fair price finally on a 2020 CFTP painted stripes Ford Performance blue car with 2k miles.
Luckily it has already been full body PPF and ceramic coated. Car literally was ready to be enjoyed.
It sits next to my Avalanche Grey 2017 GT350 that’s a Fathouse 600hp car.

After driving both back to back I can honestly say that you can’t have one over the other. The only Right answer is to have both!
they are completely different driving experiences in every way. Both being incredible in its own right.

I am a 350 guy at heart and lean towards the naturally aspirated high revving drivers car.
The 500 is more sophisticated and obviously a powerhouse. It’s just what you’re in the mood for. Neither disappoint in any way for me.
Im thrilled with how it worked out and blessed to be able to enjoy and share both with my fiends and family.
Plans for the CFTP are to enjoy but not put a ton of miles on. rips around town and some rallies.
Future plans for the GT350 are to finally start doing some track days With it this summer.
Next Goal is to add either a GT350R or 2000 cobra R in the garage as an occasional fun collector piece.

GT500 wannabe barging in.... you mentioned "Future plans for the GT350 are to finally start doing some track days With it this summer.Next Goal is to add either a GT350R or 2000 cobra R in the garage as an occasional fun collector piece. " I can understand collecting but having these two amazing Mustangs if you have not been on a track (road course) with either one you OWE it to yourself to experience the Mustang as it was designed to be driven. Fast, flat out, hang curves at speed. Even if you can't drive it like a pro, just being out where it's 100% legal to mash the pedal plus get instruction on how to do it right, it's a whole other level of enjoyment and appreciation of the Mustang.

Yep. That’s why I’m set on getting started later this summer in the 350. Once I’ve got a year or two of improved skills I would think it would be worth doing an occasional one in the CFTP. I just wouldn’t want the regular wear and tear of a track on that car regularly at all.

I’m booked for a full weekend of instructed track days in June out in Vegas in corvette C8’s. I think that will get my feet underneath me and give me some confidence to start doing them in my own car.

Your sig shows Indiana, I'm in Indy. Don't know how close you are to Indy but there's Putnam Park Road course 1 hr west of Indy. if you are upper state there is Gingerman in Michigan, Mid-Ohio and then Road America in Wiconsin. Putnam and Gingerman provide nice road courses with lots and lots of runoff room for mistakes. ;)

I’d add Autobahn CC in Joliet, IL (south burb of Chicago) for some good HPDE/instructional stuff too. Had an opportunity for a private HPDE event there last fall, got to take a GT500, GT3RS, R8 and a C8 around for a few laps each with an instructor then a few on my own. Amazing what those cars can do and how different they all are. The GT3RS is stupid fun if you ever get an opportunity to take one out
