Well yeah. But tires are intended to be worn out as fast as you can. It's a muscle car and heavy at that. Your supposed to be buying tires every year or so. If you want to buy tires every 10 years, buy a carolla or cuv.

We change politicians every 2 years, why shouldn't your tires be likewise? Please tell me you're not this guy.

OP, upgrading springs is the route you should go. FP makes good ones.

Sway bars id worry about last. Not to mention, swapping the front bar, it's easier to pull the entire strut when snaking the bar through. If you've pulled the strut, why not just pop a better spring on right away too?

Before sways or anything else, add the Steeda K-member brace. Also the Stop the Hop kit or the BMR CB005. There's little to no point in doing other suspension mods until you stiffen up the structure.

My '17 GT was the base model. In a tight curve it would squat on the outside rear. It would go from turn, turn, turn to less turn almost instantly. Didn't care for that. Lowering springs and cradle lockout bushings stopped the squat.

My '21 has the Performance Package (no PP1 / PP2 for '21). It doesn't do the squat with its stock suspension. It has a slightly larger rear sway bar, stiffer springs, and a little front frame stiffening. I have springs and lockout bushings, but may not install them. And yes, tires and alignment are important on a 3,600 to 3,800 pound car.

I added sway bars to my ride, the improvement was minimal
What was significant was new struts

It is the foundation. Subframe moving all around on you sure ain't good.

Thanks to all on your feed back. All of it makes sense. I would have been a bit happier if the car came with the Performance Package. It didn't, but it is a really cool car. It is not my 2008 Shelby GT 500, and I had a lot of fun building that car to 800WRHP ten years ago. I just want to, for the most part, keep my new 2022 Mustang GT stock. I am retired now and I need to be a bit frugal (cheap) with my money. However, I am not opposed to small affordable upgrades that makes sense.

Again thanks, Edgemere

Swaybars are fun. Nothing wrong with trying some stiffer swaybars.

Shoot if you were closer I'd give you my GT350 sway bars.

Keep an eye on the classifieds here and FB marketplace. You may come across someone going back to stock that is willing to sell their FP handling kit for pennies on the dollar. That would be your best bang for the buck IMO.

The non-consumable weak link in your car is the brakes, so if you don't plan on abusing those, you're probably golden.
