Actual build date?

Can anyone tell me where I can find the actual build date of my DIB GT? This is my first Mustang in 50 years so I am a little behind in my knowledge of how to decipher the data. My original Mustang that I still own is easy. I got my car on December 3rd at Bowen Scarff but I would like to know when it actually came off the assembly line.

One option is to go http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do and enter your VIN.

Another is to check the top of your window sticker for the blend date. You'll see something like 120141124. Ignore the first digit and treat the rest as YYYY/MM/DD, or Nov 24, 2014.

Thank you very much Harry. I do still have the window sticker and found the date. In my case it is Sept 9, 2014.

Incidentally, I also drive a 1965 (1964 1/2 actually) that I bought new on May 26 1964. Just today I took pictures of both cars together for the first time.

Roy, since you bought your Mustang from the dealership I work for, I was able to pull up your build date very easily: it rolled off the assembly line on September 10, 2014.

On a side note, I'll ask everyone who buys a DIB Mustang w/o the rear spoiler from us if they'll trade for your trunk lid.

Build dates can be fluid between the systems, ETIS/COTUS said 9/10 on my car, a slip inside the car when I got it said 8/19.
