What are you sorry about. I just meant that I didn't want to spend Nascar money ($150 plus) on a tire gauge, your information was in the right ball park.

DT: I've had a few good dial gauge pressure checkers through the years but I found eventually, they all stop working and I prefer the "popup stick" type much like a tread depth gauge.

Yeah, I think the Accu-Gage has some design improvements for longer life, like higher quality valves, better rubber seals, it's all brass - I've had mine for at least a decade.

It's funny - and I guess a little sad - that a product lasting longer than a couple of years is now the outlier ...
