I feel my car is at the limit on several components. My entire internal engine and drivetrain is stock except a set of GT350 axles. Only power mods are Procharger P1X and a fuel system. Car has run a best of 10.20/138, and a best 60' of 1.62. I do have a STH starter kit & drag springs, and some big mickeys. I feel like the aluminum rear diff, and stock driveshaft is on borrowed time. I may need to start at the back, and beefup going forward.

We have a 3 time past champion in NMRA who runs an old school 9" Ford rearend under his (street legal) Mustang! Just a thought... Seems to be working for him!

I think that is a bit high. Ive been 142mph on 685whp. What transmission do you run? That may help with recommendations for the items you mentioned.
My car is just about full weight, and I weigh 330#. I'm running about 15# of boost. Car is an A10.

Stock driveshaft, GT350 axle shafts.
If I'm thinking of the same axles, the Gt350 axles aren't rated for anything major, as they're the OEM equipment for GT350. Just a tad stronger than OEM GT axles. Personally I'd run some DSS axles for safety reason, especially on anything over 700 whp and on a sticky tire.

but wouldn’t running gt350 axle cause you to also run the gt350 hubs and brake kit? I rather just get beefier axles that are made for the GT
The GT350 axles fit perfectly with the GT hubs and brakes. They are much stronger than the stock GT half shafts.
