At a short full stop in traffic, a friggin' Prius hit me square on. My first question was "How did you miss seeing THIS car?!?" He fell asleep.
If Rip Van Winkle had been driving a real car, it could have been worse; fortunately the Prius was my crumple zone.
Exhaust, bumper some brackets etc., nothing structural and no airbag deployment.
Current estimate $9182.61 and 06/25 to complete.
I really, really dislike those Prius'ssss

Yeah, the active-valve exhaust is toast, but my Steeda H-pipe came through unscathed.

I’m sorry to hear about your accident.
I always hoped my Competition Orange made me immune from such incidents, guess not.

How fast was he going? Looks like it held up well.

If you don't mind me asking how loud is it without the mufflers lol. Also look on the bright side you are okay, a car can be replaced.

It would if people had their eyes opened before rear-end your car. Lmao

A tad louder than Track; that and the possibility that i killed the offending Prius may have been the highlights of the morning.

Wow, sorry this happened, but the damage looks very repairable.

Friend of mine introduced me to referring to them as the Toyota Pious. I think they, and they people that buy into the hype, are the absolute worst. I hope your car is made properly whole again.

Thanks; I’m aiming at better than before. Taking the time to touch up the paint chips and add some PPF.

Glad you are ok. sorry it happened. :( I have seen a few posts here and there about accidents and what stands out to me is the estimates for repair. I know insurance covers it but dang. Over 9k for a bumper and mufflers? Ive seen other stuff seemed rather minor and price tags of 12k to 20k. Its like you scratch a door now and its totaling the car.

I know that there are standard rates for insurance companies, but you’re right, OEM parts get pricey.
