trailer lock.jpg

Just thought I would pass this on. Mod's move it if needed.
Simple and easy to make 2 of, and not hard to install, use an odd bolt head type that most thugs won't be carrying , torx's etc. and makes moving the trailer with all four tires locked up hard, and if they do, someone will know something is not right and hopefully make a phone call.

A Sawzall will make quick work of the thru bolt between the blocks of wood and off the crooks go with trailer quiet as a mouse.

Nothing to stop a thief, but common in the multi axle travel trailer world already.

Yep, if someone wants it you will not stop them unless you sleep with it.

interesting idea, perhaps some sort of extended fender that is somehow removable, to hide the lock at least make them work a little harder, and if they really are bringing a Sawzall then they got some real nerve

Battery powered Sawzall, cut-off wheel and drill/impact are standard thief's gear.
They can cut loose/open just about anything in no time.

a plus of putting on lowering springs was that its that much harder to get at my CATs. Fingers crossed never had anything stolen. More worried about getting hit by one of the many ass clowns out in the world.

I shoot first ask questions later and my car is 10 feet from my bedroom, so I practically do sleep with it.
Thieves beware of owner.
