I did not find out about this until late yesterday. She was a fabulous lady, IMO
and that is an understatement.
I know I will always regret not having made a trip to Germany to have met her
in person.
If anyone was unaware of her driving abilities, here are three text book examples:

She was always so great and funny on Top Gear. I had dreams of someday getting a ride around the Nurburgring ring in her ring taxi.
She will be very missed.

More impressive than Sabine driving a fast car fast around the ring, was her driving a slow car extremely fast on the ring. For example the famous drive in a diesel Ford van -

That is for sure. The second video I posted, you can really hear how
much fun she was having, driving that Porsche 996. Not only that, I
think she really enjoyed probably every lap she ran at the Nurburgring.

There is definitely a connection with Steve McQueen, who in his 50 years,
probably got more enjoyment out of life than most would have if they had
lived to 100.
