Hey guys. Do you also have to give a good amount of force to actually close your doors and trunk? Half the time I get into my car I'm opening and closing the door again because the door isn't properly shut. It may be completely normal, but I'm not used to using so much force to close everything. The trunk is much worse than the doors. I've only driven my families luxury cars before this so that could be it but not sure.

Are you guys experiencing the same thing?

Nope, not at all. No slamming or pulling doors hard to close.

Does your alignment seem ok? How many miles are on your car? Could be the weather stripping as well that might be off. It appears to be pretty thick.

My trunk takes some amount of force. It definitely doesn't 'lightly' close. Looks fine alignment wise though, seems latch related.

The lines are aligned properly but the front side of the doors are like 2-3mm inward into the body. Friends told me it's 'probably normal' but maybe not? : (

edit: I'm going to get snap some pics tomorrow morning when it's light out!

I have to slam all three harder than I'd like.

Yea my trunk doesn't just fall shut with light push either, it needs a pretty good push but doesnt look misaligned

Trunk needs a firm shove, which is annoying because I always feel like I'm gonna crack that useless black plastic cover on the trunk.

Have to be firm with the trunk and hood on mine. Doors are very reasonable

+1 - The only part of my car I dislike is that horrible piece of black plastic on the back. I wish someone would make a high quality replacement piece that wasn't super shiny and plasticky looking.

And yes, my trunk needs more "force" to close than any trunk I've had prior.

Similar problem with mine, though they adjusted the bumpers on it which made it even harder to close.... I noticed before though, you cab lightly shut the trunk and it will latch fine.... I also find the trunk ajar light lit at times after the adjustment though all doors are very easy to close...lately though.... trunk has gotten a little easier to close.... that our I just got used to it

Here's two quick pics I snapped of my driver's side door which is the most difficult to close. I've been told this alignment is normal.. what do you guys think?

Firm shove is all that it requires to close my doors and trunk

My doors shut fine/normal compared to my other Mustangs, but the trunk is a real B to close. Have to close it 2-3 times to finally get it to shut. Same with the hood, takes more force than I would like.
