I know what you mean about our teeth though …
I’m quite lucky - 46, zero fillings, all original, zero dentistry work other than repairing the same tooth I have chipped three times (twice in the pool and once on a beer bottle), but like so many over here, I’m not blessed with the big perfectly spaced pearly whites that I regularly see on you guys …
They are still all white though, which is more than can be said for some of the kids I see at school in my daughters classes … WTF … ?
I blame it on the sweet stuff and it was less than a week ago I actually had this conversation with my misses. When we have been in the states and gone food shopping, it seems like you guys have a huge choice of everything compared to the U.K. - other than chocolate and sweets (and crisps / chips for that matter) which is really lacking compared to choice that we see in the U.K.
I was never bought up on sweets (mum was a dentists assistant lol), but if you look at kids walking home from school, most have a bag of sweets / chocolate bar / sugary drink etc in their hands …

Made me think of one of my favorites........I have to be careful with my English humour (sarcasm) on here, it’s sometimes missed and / or taken the wrong way

It's was a "thing" in Japan a few years ago. People paying for crooked teeth. Oh, those crazy Japanese.try Japanese elementary school kid teeth - black and triangular. Incredible amount of 'Kashi' are consumed with the predictable outcome.
apparently packaging and product engineering hadn't anticipated that grocery stores stock this stuff vertically and not flat where the flaccid internals and lack of casing structural rigidity wouldn't be displayed for all to see.
That refrigerator must be really cold...........

As someone who spends quite a bit of time swimming in both the pool and open water, I can totally relate …
When we went to London several years ago it was the first time I had ever seen baked beans for breakfast. That was a generic internet picture and a little too well done for me
At the fear of going off topic, here are some of our attempts. From my misses and the kids on Father’s Day :
And one of my own
Not something that can be done regularly though … lol
