I think you missed the point. half of Wat's argument is that Antifa's name is ANTI-FASCISTS so they are obviously the good guys, being against fascism. Whereas I am merely pointing out that the name a group decides to call themselves doesn't mean jack shit. i.e. the National Socialist party.
Don't forget Christians, Americans, etc, too. Plenty of bad people give themselves a title that masks their true intentions, I agree not all who say they are just are, in fact, just. However, comparing Anti-Fascists to Nazis because you somehow believe Antifa is not anti-fascism is incredibly dishonest. This is not to say that there aren't bad people, fascists, etc using the moniker. As we've seen from alt-right groups claiming to be Antifa and then committing crimes just as it's incredibly easy to impersonate anyone or thing.

Unlike the Nazi party, Antifa is not a cohesive organization with coherent goals or logical reasons for choosing who to target other than they perceive them as being fascist. Many anti-fascists would not support other anti-fascists' methods and choices, just as many Christians do not support all other Christians' methods and choices. But this is very unlike the Nazis who were all a cohesive group that banded together to dominate a population no matter the cost or method.

Ah. You're right. I did miss your point. Got it now. Thanks for clarifying.

Soooo.....by that logic, this girl, who isn't even black, apparently now speaks for the Black Lives Matter movement, thusly invalidating the core values of the movement altogether? That's interesting. Lets apply that same logic to police violence. Obviously, if a police officer commits a crime, that means the entire organization is invalid. That everything that it stands for doesn't matter because of a single, or in this case, a systemic problem. Clearly, because one gun owner choses to open fire on a school, the lot of them are lumped in the same pile.

The problem with this post, is you try to create some sore of false narrative using logic that is already flawed. Then you proceed to defend your flawed logic by pointing out other fallacies. This is called a straw man argument and is a well documented as an extremely common tactic in a discussion/debate.

I know this will stir feelings of "NUH UNH", in many of you, but think about the logic of this post for just a second...
