93 how many pounds of boost can I run safely

LOL We pm'd in great detail about my car before I did it. P1X, 18 mani, mak deletes, and custom catback. Also why I was shocked to make 12 lbs. Lund must have some cam timing making boost a little higher than expected, but jr said it was right on what he expected.

Oops, I remember now! lol my bad. For comparison on a 4.75" I made about 13psi (but my meter couldnt do decimals) at 7500 with cats. So I guess it's not too far off like you said with cam changes and sea level differences. The P1X is pretty impressive.

In my testing I found with 93 alone on a 3.5" pulley with stock headers cats at 13.5 psi I had too much knock up to 5 and total spark was 13. Now with meth and everything else the same I would see almost no knock and 18 total spark. With 10 0z of Boostane and same shot of meth I see 20 spark now and no knock and even negative knock all on Whipple cal modified with HP Tuners.

I’ve seen 13 on the Dyno. It normally runs 12psi with a 3.6 pulley.

Yeah gen 2 opg and crank sprocket. Can I add a octane booster? Does that help at all? Some people say run a couple gallons of 110 to prevent knock

I am currently at 11psi at a rev limit of 7200. I am installing my OPG & CSS next month and I plan to raise the rev limit to 7800 or so, and I expect to see 12 or 13psi. I run a can of Torco in every gas tank, and I typically see around 17~19 deg. of timing on my WOT pulls with no knock.

On the 10.5psi pulley on a 115 degree day, my car picked up 40+hp with a can of Octanium thrown in it with no changes because the car wouldn't get full timing without it. Since then, I've ran a half can of Boostane Professional with every tank of 93oct and I see full timing on every run.
