Nice! I’m guessing it’s an IMSA one? VA is a little outside of where I’m looking. I’ve found a couple closer to Utah. Trying to see what I can workout.
Don’t do it. You’ll regret it. I did. Now I’m back.
Can I ask what you traded it for?

I’m not sure if it’s a IMSA. But I know the CF1 and CF2 is hard to get, and for a while you couldn’t get it. The GM supplier went out of business and they had to find a new one. Lindsay sells and ships cars nationwide.

I sold my last one to gain the equity out of it and put more into our condo, letting my wife keep her Mustang. I did the sacrifice. Now she has given up her Mustang to allow me to get back into the GT350

I'd never buy a GM Cadilac or any other GM product. It's just my opinion.

I like my Ford GT350 for a bunch of reasons:

I did upgrade but not with any old GM car. I got a real upgrade with a Porsche Turbo:

It's really the one and only upgrade from a Mustang GT350.

Hey Doc,
Does Porsche consider the Cayman to handle better than the 911
?
Asking for a friend.

Dave,
I have no clue as I have only owned eight Porshe 911's.

As you know, I am an old guy. I have owned 18 Mustangs. Here is my first one:

The 1965 Mustang was old when I bought it for $300.

My next one was an used 1984 Mustang 5.0 5-speed convertible. Shown here with the next four four cars

Cayman is a narrower car than the 911 and Porsche never let them truly compete with even powertrain solutions until the GT4RS. It depends on what you're trying to do, but the Caymans/Boxsters were beating up on all of the 911's at the event except for 1. Of course only one of them (with a pro driver) was able to beat my full weight pig and an oudated 2014 Mustang GT.

Driving my GT350 and then following up with a 718 drive in the same curves has given me respect for the handling characteristics of the two.
The GT350 holds its own…. I actually prefer it to the Cayman.

Dave,
I'll disagree. My Ford Mustang GT350 has 526 HP which can make up for the lighter weight of a Cayman at Road Atlanta. The Cayman would be best at T-10a and T-10b.

The Mustang has the horsepower to power down the straights (it has two big straight's). The big FPC 5.2 engine can make good power at high RPM's.
