This was a joint effort between SA and Whipple. Both seem to know a little about making HP. Why even bother to question it.
Exactly. Below is the dyno chart from my 2017 Mustang GT with a Whipple tune and LTH only. 814 RWHP on a car that only made mid 400 stock.

Very easy to make 900 crank even using the stock blower and some bolt ons, and/or tune.

crazy seeing the hp climb and the torque not climb linear to it. strange to me when I see diesel stuff and a thousand lbs of torque with like 300lb

HP = torque x RPM

Torque is generally 'static' across a broad RPM rpm range. The volume of a cumbustion chamber doesn't change no matter how quickly you fill and empty it. There are 'resonances' at various speeds that cause it not to be a perfectly horizontal line but in a "perfect" engine it would have a slope of zero.

I read what you are saying, just confuses my head with figures. like how we can break them apart to decipher hp to torque ratio. even though both are moving at same time.

Still trying to understand the North American availability/split on the KR package as I’ve now seen that the Canadian allocation is part of the 60/yr as opposed to part of the international 15/yr.

There is also some confusion on total Canadian allocations, as very recently 3 mod shops are now 2 mod shops, with the 2 remaining shops hoping to split the allocations from the closed mod shop. With 7 global Shelby mod shops (now 6), was the idea to give the 7 shops 2 units/yr/shop leaving 1 allocation leftover

So, was/is Canada penned to receive 10% (6 of 60/yr) or 40% (6 of 15/yr)? Is there 60 total for North America, or 66? I believe it’s the latter. I do believe that the total global allocation, as it relates back to a spreadsheet somewhere, continues to be 225 (60x3+15x3) units. a total of 225 would also speak to apparent ´ADM’ on actual parts. Great time fo me (not my wife) to be a car enthusiast!

9:05 mark revels discussion on allocations from Gary Patterson.

I'm 40/60 for doing a 2020 KR and have a build slot, but I'm 60/40 for doing a 2022 KR with no build slot or car... SO to answer the question, No I'm not doing a KR,....yet.

Understood, but you would be throwing away good money that was well spent already. You'd be in further ahead to start over maybe?

ps. Your copilot must be a saint!

Not necessarily…. SE owners are eligible for future upgrades. Besides the Whipple, they would only have to change the “theme“ from SE to KR with badging, seat covers, and wheels. The rest is already done, especially the wide body.

I‘ll answer the second part once I run it by her, lol.

From what I have been told, the 2022's are close to being (if not already) spoken for. I would encourage any of you interested to act fast and get on the list soon.
