90 Miles from Cuba

Finally knocked it off my bucket list. For me, I've now traveled to all four corners of the ConUS. Already clocked over 8K. Week after next, I head for the bay area in CA to see the grandkids. The GT350 is truly designed for long distance touring. Jus liv'n the dream.

They were made for driving. I was at that exact location in March of last year. Key West was interesting and 7 mile bridge seemed shorter lol.

It is an interesting drive from the mainland. Damn highway patrol was everywhere. Can just imagine what this weekend is like.

Thank you. I am. In the short time I've owned it, I've racked up 8K plus miles. Next week, I'm off again. This time, to the SF bay area and N CA. CA 36 is a drivers dream. Over 200+ curves. Runs E/W from US 101 to Susanville, CA.

Done the dragon too many times. Ditto the "Snake." I'm only a days drive from Alcoa, TN. Over the years I've done just about every know ride/drive in the US. A number of years ago, I ordered a C6 Z06 from a dealer in NH just so I'd have the excuse to drive to Ft. Kent, Maine. That is the northern end of US 1. Unlike many, I enjoy driving. I keep a bag packed w/ 10 days clothing. The Corps taught me good.

The climb out of death Valley going west will be interesting if the heat persists. I've always driven/ridden from west to east.

Ya California right now is going through a massive heat wave. Where I'm at in LA, we were seeing temps as high as 110+ this weekend. It's suppose to cool down a little this week but be safe!

Couldn't agree with you more on the long distance comfort and fun of driving this car many miles at a time. Bought it precisely for that purpose as well and not disappointed at all, especially love the Recaros.
