Not on a 18 yet but I have seen 3 sets fail and one timing gear on 15-17. They are the same as Gen2 coyote. You’ve seen 3 sets of 2018 opgs fail?
People don't get it until it happens to them. I had Timing chain gears as well as oil pump gears installed on both of my S550s. 2016 GT and now 2018 GTSure it is....That's why new GT500 has them.

But it’s not really a $250 part. Most can’t do it on their own as it’s conplicated and involved and the install will run you over $1000 easilyNot on a 18 yet but I have seen 3 sets fail and one timing gear on 15-17. They are the same as Gen2 coyote.
I dont see it anymore because I just make it part of build. I know its a crap shoot but why risk everything over $250 part.
I see your shop charges $1,321 for OPG/CS installed on S/C 18+. Help me understand the $100 comment?Everyone watching these threads without them comes in here looking for reassurance that is safe. Spend $100 and stop coming here.....

Ok thank you for clarfication! If you cant do it than obviously you have to pay for labor. I only charge 700 labor on 18 and 600 on earlier models. IF you are doing package pricing its less.
