In recent time I haven’t been as active as i would like to on this forum, Looking to change that! I used to be very active with my 16 S550 MT-82 posting about running 9s with an Edelbrock 2650. The past two years i have spent a lot of time with Evolution Performance and their 2020 GT500 #421. We have been the leading program in DCT Development since day 1. First in the 9s and 8s! It’s been an absolute hell of a ride. I have recently purchased my own S550 GT500 as the platform is the best thing since sliced bread. The Evolution car has been performing on rails lately! we have over 20 8 second runs on the car and have been sub 8.6 for the majority of the runs. 1.2X 60fts seem to be effortless with the car. To clarify, it is the Original Transmission with Original Clutches, Tuned By Lund Racing via HP Tuners. We have and use only the exactly same TCM Access that HPT provides to the public. Tremec has done one heck of a job building these transmissions. Can’t wait to see what next season brings to the platform!

Is all of this 60 foot magic in just the tune? No im not talking about suspension components either. Can a stock engine stock blower be capable of close to the same 60 foot? BTW I have an old Ngauge from Lund I could use for tuning thru Lund.

Lund and PBD combined have had about 10-15 cars with stock blower cut 1.4x 60fts. I don’t see a full weight stock blower car cutting a 1.2x 60ft until we have more TCM access. now a 1.4x 60ft can give a stock blower full weight car an 8 second slip, it hasn’t been done yet but i have an idea for the combination and plan on doing it with my personal car !

For now I'll stick with the stock blower and just pulley down. But eventually I may go 3.8l . I agree a 1.2 at full weight won't happen and even a 1.4 would be hard. But I do intend to taking some weight out and it starts with the massive brakes. Then kmember and front sway bar. I'll do full bolt on but not touch the blower or Tb. Since they will get swapped anyway. I'm building my own cold air too.

The dark clouds in the OP just makes the Mustang so sinister looking. Those racers arnt afraid of some stinkin rain !
