What surprises me is that with that kind of service they still get business ?

While I was waiting I drove another “spare“ I had previously acquired to a contact given to me by forum member @Jed S. ... thanks man !
Scott owns Richardson Transmissions in WV and you may have seen him on stangmodes you tube channel (he fixed his 10r80).
It was back in Feb and and I had perfect weather for 5 -6 hour drive with it in the back of my wife’s explorer .
Got there about noon .
He helped me unload and went to work straight away . He has his own parts already machined and added more clutches to several packs .
I took in the sights in Morgan town while he was working.
He was done by 6 pm and I could have been home the same day but would have been caught in a snow storm so I spent the night in wheeling .

Scott is a great guy and I made a very good friend .
He has a badass TT 2018 and Has gone 8.6@165 with the same upgrade to the trans in his car . since then we talk several times a week . I think I talked him into building a “5.2” lol
Hopefully I have 2 solid “spares “ now and when I swap out the one in the car now(has clutches only ) it will be going to him for a rebuild /upgrade - he has some new things he is working on to improve the trans

One of the “spares “ is destined for Fox body /Gen 3 /10r80 swap in the near future .

I am sorry but not sorry to have jacked this thread .
so I will quit now .
