If they had stick shift 500, the thriving bastards would not have got them! But seriously how do they get the key fobs? I doubt they cloned them. Is there a wall in the building with all the fobs on them?

I’m gonna have to say the stick shift was less likely to get away (especially considering most drivers these days)… Now if you wanna say if they had a stick shift they would have had a lot more fun running, that’s a different story.

Too expensive to have actual security.

Some of my heavy equipment units have a passcode to start. Nearly every vehicle today has a tv in the dash if not the dash and instrument panel. How hard can it be to incorporate a 4 or 5 digit code???

I am stunned! Isn't this the second time a theft occurred at Flat Rock? Lessons learned from the prior theft????

CVCashmere
You are correct. This is the second time. Since they caught one of the thieves this time, I am confident that they will learn who the inside person is.

There's an override code, just like the old keys would start any machine.

Last time I read about the car you're locked in with the gay gear select knob. No manual box offered for that thing?

And I think that is the 8th deadly sin.

Yeah but each vehicle could have an individual master code and it be hard to find. ie: the master code to f250 door master code is behind the passenger kick panel

Between the hundreds of employees coming and going between shifts, getting in and out of a car plant is not a hard thing to do. keys are generally left in the vehicles for pure ease of logistics.
