My buddie's 2015 5.0 manual premium got beat by a q50 hybrid yesterday. They went from 0-85 and he was ahead by one car. He paid 40k out the door for the q50, my friend was embarrassed but it was great that his 5.0 got beat by a hybrid that averages 31 in the city lol, I thought he was just a crappy driver but comes to find out these things do 0-60 in 4.9.
Found your problem, your buddy shifts like 95% of the manual drivers on M6G. :D

Or that manuals are no match for the new autos, I rather not power shift and shorten the life on my tranny to race some q50.

Tesla in the front, Infinity in the back. Had a Q70 5.6 (QX80 in the back) and it was pretty quick, and the interior was awesome. No sign of cheap parts regardless of its relation to Nissan.
I agree, I've been a long time Infiniti owner (Q45's, M45's & my current 13 yr old G35 & 6 yr old G37 convertible). They have all been super reliable & fun to drive. I still get complements on the '03 G35 w 115K miles. Just can't part with the old girl - not real fancy inside, doesn't have any of the modern gadgets & it's not super fast, but it's a fun to drive car and relatively cheap to maintain. My '07 Titan was also a solid performer & never needed repairs - still sorry I sold her
