Hi,

In December, I held off from purchasing a leftover 2019 GT350 because I was debating getting the "R" version. I'm leaning towards the "R".

I've seen a couple of 2019 GT350s listed for $5-8k off of MSRP. I'm not anticipating that much off of a GT350R.
I hoping to get $4-5k off of MSRP. Does that sound reasonable, or do you think I can do better? Being that it's a leftover model, I was hoping there would be more pressure to sell it.

Thx

I paid 5K off MSRP for my 2019 R on Jan 4th of this year. Have seen multiple posts from others with same price. Most I have seen is one person getting 7K off MSRP.

That seems very doable to me as long as you are willing to travel to go get one (depending on your state and dealerships). Some of the best deals are usually in states with snow on the ground and dealer know they are likely not selling the car until April or May at the earliest.

I think I would want more than 4k off for the simple reason that the 2020R has received upgrades. The 4k off might have been fine if the 2020 hadn't had changes. You are essentially buying the older model and getting only a small discount.

Depends on the market in your area and frankly I think that is a reasonable price for an R. You are always going to find a better deal somewhere sometime but if you are comfortable with it, then go ahead. The differences on the 20 are not worth the extra cost to the novice owner.

Hey Joe

If you are serious, in Tomball Ford they have a 2019 GT350R for $69,900. I just talked to Christian 2 minutes ago and that is the REAL price. I get $100 and I will split it with you.

Tomball Ford is where I bought my 2014 Mustang GT Premium. They are nice folks.

P.S. It has been on the lot for awhile he said and that they are willing to deal. Try to get a little more off.

You should be getting no less than 5K off! I got 5K off my 2019R in September!!

It is now a model year older so 5K off should be your starting point. still keep in mind that the market in that area will have a say on it.

I hope Joe can get a deal. The one I gave him is about $3k off. And it is for sure. People would have killed for $3k off an R awhile back.

Christian said, as I posted, it has been on the lot while and everyone wants a GT500. So supply and demand has taken over

I think he is referring to the rare 'spoiler delete' option this car has.
Did you see that it says "delete". I know the front spoiler is always a dealer install

Actually I just made up that term. The front splitter is dealer install but not the rear spoiler. What happened to the rear spoiler is anyone’s guess, maybe they just took it off for repaint. We’re just having fun here.
