OK pilotgore......

Please put me on the list also for the funnel with caps and the filter guide
when you design it. Mach 1 with HP on order, so I won't need for a while!
Sure thing, I’ll add you to the queue.

I gotta say… I’m impressed with the enthusiasm of the Mach 1 crowd. Also, the greater the number in the queue for the filter guide, the higher it moves up my priority list :)

Okay, I guess I have to join the Mach 1 party too.

Put me down for the funnel and caps. Also can't wait for the filter guide too. That's the worst part of oil changes.

Just kidding.

I'm in Batesville and have a Mach 1 and a lift.... 🤷‍♂️
Certainly getting warmer :)

Thanks for the offer. If I don’t find someone closer, I may hit you up!

Guys who have changed their oil….. I’m curious, what method do you use? Are you using cardboard or something of the like to get oil to come out the driver side wheel well, or are you utilizing the belly pan trap door? Any real world info is helpful.

I watched the tech change the oil at the dealership. He used a piece of cardboard through the belly pan door.

I have also seen this method too.

Elsewhere I saw someone mention using a ziplock bag to keep the oil contained somehow when unscrewing the filter, and then one of these moldable oil funnels to channel the oil down away from car and through the oil drain door instead of the cardboard.

I accessed the filter from the side, broke it lose with filter wrench, stuffed pig mat under the filter/above the power steering unit, used both the trap door and side access to loosen by hand and remove.

Did my best not to make a mess, but still had a bit of cleanup to do.

I've done the ziplock bag trick. It works for a good portion of the oil but not all of it. I just wipe up the residual off of anywhere it drips on.

Haven't changed my Mach 1's oil since I'm at 158 miles. Still a baby.

Gets tricky when it stops turning because the oil makes it so slippery right before it comes off.
