Ive done many searches to try and figure out if this setup will work, My question to all you wheel and tire guys and gals is Im thinking about going with a 19x10 rear wheel, Nitto NT05 not the R one makes a 305/35/19 which is the max recommended width for a 10 inch wide rim they run $644 for 2 but Cooper RS3S makes a 325/30/19 for $400 for 2 which they dont recommend for that width but according to their respective websites the Nittos run exactly the same width and a little more OD than the Cooper's so is it ok to run the Cooper's on the 19x10 if they are exactly the same width as the 305/35 Nitto's? Thank You to Everybody in advance!

I would go with the 305/35/19 tire but im a Nitto fan haha, also if it wasnt for the price the 305 would just sit better IMO. But lets take a look at some hard #s, it seems good to me.

Nitto NT05

Size: 305/35/19

Overall diameter: 27.44"

Overall width: 12.32"

Copper RS3-S

Size: 325/30/19

Overall diameter: 26.73"

Overall width: 11.57"

compare it to the widest I have done on a S550 on a 10" wheel

NItto Invo

315/35/20

overall diameter: 28.62"

Overall width: 12.40"

Thx need for speed, so in your expertise price and brand aside the Cooper would definitely fit because of the Section Width right? Even though it's 325 on a 10 inch rim.

With the GT350 coming on 295/35ZR19 and 305/35ZR19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports and the GT350R coming on 305/30ZR19 and 315/30ZR19 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires there will be more tire choices in wide 19 inchers very soon.

Very true question is when will there be enough of them in the warehouses to supply them to the general public.
