Ended up looking at 285/35 and 295/35 in MPS4S, which seems also to be a common choice here. Mostly as I want the incredible grip I've had with the MPS4s. Of course annoyingly they don't do 305/35 in that tyre yet, if they ever will.
Just fyi for anyone looking into the MPS4S in 295/35/R19 as a rear tire it is MO1 spec’ed made for a 10” rim so in terms of tread width(contact patch) its less than the 285/35/R19 (9.8” vs 10”). I had it mounted on a 11” rim and it was quite stretched..

Well that sucks, cheers for the heads up. The whole point of getting new rims was to increase the contact rubber for a supercharger install.

Back to finding a good matching set front and back then.

Well dang. That's exactly what I bought for my 10.5" square setup. Weird imo why Merc would spec a tire like that. Guess I should've done better research. Now I guess to mount 1 and see if TireRack will let me return if I don't like the fitment

Here is a picture of the 295 mounted on a 10” rim. Looks better but still has a slight stretch, doesn’t really square off on the rim.

That looks much better then the 11". Seems there's not much in the MPS4s for an 11" then that'll fit without a lot of other changes. The 305/30 is too short and the 315/30 is going to be a little too short and too wide. I just don't want to go back to PZeros (which does come in a 305/35); the MPS4s I have on the rear now grip so much better in UK weather. We can't get those 305/35 Sport Cup 2s that are fitted to the 350 either.

Appreciate the picture. I may be sending these things back. Or seeing if someone locally wants to buy them. But probably going to go 305/30.

Some of the varieties are specific OEM fitments, and can vary from the "normal" configuration.
I ran the 295/35R19 MPSS for a while, and it too ran small. IIRC it was a Mercedes OEM spec tire too, and it had a treadwidth a bit narrower than the standard 285/35R19. So looking at the specific specs of the tire is never a bad idea.

Yeah, it's definitely going to be a lesson learned. Not that expensive of a lesson, but I'm still gonna be out some extra money.

I grabbed some pics and forgot to share. Not terrible, but I don't think it's what I'm looking for.

At this point I'm also thinking 305/30 (rears), but 285/30 for fronts as I'm after the staggered setup.

Are you concerned about the changes to gearing and ride quality Vs standard setup?

Having not had experience of what dropping the sidewall height feels like myself, from reading other threads it seems there will be a noticeable difference in ride quality/harshness going from the current 275/40 MPS4s. Obviously there will be an affect on gearing too, but speedo issues I'm not concerned with as that can be adjusted for with tooling.

Probably over thinking this though - Ford obviously don't see it as a problem, although granted, these are aggressive models and track focussed, so comfort is always going to suffer:

40 is way too tall of profile for 285 and 305 width in a 19in set up.

Agreed, cheers. Convo's moved on a bit though now...
Didn’t know. Just read the first post and commented. But at least you know now.

Reviving this thread a little. Was right in the middle of selecting new wheels and tires since my first set is due at some point. And was looking at going 285/35/20 or 295/35/20, but could only see the 295s with the MO1 marking.

Which is interesting as that would allow 275/35, 285/35 or 295/35(MO1) all to fit on a 10" wheel and have many options in the future for replacements depending on availability and pricing while keeping close to the stock diameter. Or would a regular 285 not fit well on a 10" wheel?
