Shredded a tire on road debris. I have a 2020 PP2 car with stock wheels. I am running mich PS 4S in 295/35r19 on all 4. Tire guy says I can run a PS 4S 305/30r19 or rears and a 295/35r19 PS 4S on fronts. He says lots of mustangs run that combo. Is he correct?

Isn't a different aspect ratio gonna cause problems? Or at least look funny or mess with stance?

Front tire would be almost an inch taller than the rear, that doesnt make much sense. 285.35/19 and 305/35/19 here, front tire is 1/2" shorter than rear. But you say you have 20's, but then reference 19"'s, so not sure.

My bad. Meant 19's, corrected post to reflect 19's not 20's. I thought the same thing, taller tire up front would look odd and mess up stance.

I think he may have been thinking 305/35 rear and 35 front, like mine is. I assume rhe previous owner replaced the sport cups with these to fill the fender gap some and not have the front poke.

I would think it would look odd, and for what? less than 1cm of extra width?

Go 35 series on all 4s or 30 series on all 4s. Unfortunately not a lot of good tires offered in a 305/35/19 other than the Mich PSS which are on back order for at least another month away. The MIch PSS is just one generation older than the PS4S but they are right up there. I had both and dry traction its a wash, its in the wet that the PS4S is a better tire. I don't drive in the wet with this car so its a non issue. I am running 285/35/19 Mich PS4s and 305/35/19 MIch PSS on my car currently.

Anyone have any luck tracking down 305/35/19s MPSS? I broke my own rotation rule of not buying another rear set last summer. Burned on the back orders….

i had 3 tire shops search nationwide and nothing is available. Sounds like sometime around August 10th is when tire rack and discount expect them to start coming in stock...

285/30-19 PS4S up front and 305/30-18 PS4S out back. see if you like or dislike the stance. the only complaint is the speedo is off about 4%. The next set will be 305/35 out back due to the speedo nothing else
