I hit 30,000 miles yesterday after 23 months of ownership (of which the last 12 months I did over 18,000 miles). So far in these 30,000 miles I only had to deal with the broken A/C at 8,000 mile mark and no other issues. Oil changes every 3000-4000 miles. Oil consumption steady at 1qt/1500 mile.
I do however have a small coolant leak since day 1 (about 1/4 qt per 8000-10000 mile) but I m afraid to take it to ford.
Car has FP full exhaust, MGW shifter, 20 lb aftermarket wheels, snow tires and 305 square PSS summer tires. I have xpel ultimate on 60% of the car and I regularly clay/add sealant which help a lot.
It’s my daily driver and our only car which means almost HALF of these miles were driven by my wife (super cool to be a mom going to school to pick up the kid in red mustang with close to 600hp and stick shift).
Stock tires last over 20,000 miles. I drove it through 2 winters including 3-4 noreasters last year in snow.
I still enjoy the car equal amount to the day I first drove it. I still find myself coming up with excuses to the wife to go run some errands to drive it extra.
Any other stories?
