3.31 gears

What happened to the 3.31 gears as standard on the Auto's? I have 3.15's and they are a PIG. Rode in a 3.55 geared car yesterday and it was perfect IMO.

Don't hear or see the 3.31's anymore. What's up with that and why did FORD drop down to 3.15's??

3.15 was always the standard gear for the 6R80 cars. 3.31's are the base gear for the stick cars.
