Hi all!

I’m in the market for wheels and tires and have searched all over the internet for the answer I am seeking but have no come across it.
I’m in the market for wheels and tires and have searched all over the internet for the answer I am seeking but have no come across it.

I’m looking at XXR 527D rims

My options are 20x10.5 +20 or 20x9 +20 or +35

From my research I can easily run a 305 on the rear but the front is where I am having difficulty’s finding answers.

I would like to run a 285/35/20 on the front but am not sure if a 10.5 rim would fit without rubbing.

I am lowered on eibach 1” springs

Thanks in advance guys

You could also have issues with tire height on the front. That's a 28" tall tire. As far as offset for the front it should fit, it will poke out about 4mm more than a front PP2 wheel. I would go with a 285/30/20.

+20 offset won't work in the rear. It needs to be more like +40 to +50 depending on tire size.

My options for rim size for the rear is 10.5 +20 or +35

do you think that 10.5 +35 will fit with a 305
+35 is flush to the fender with 285s on 10 inch wheels. You'll get some poke with 305s but not as much as +20. I'm not familiar enough with agressive fitments to know whether you can adjust for that with negative camber. Might check the aggressive fitment thread.

Just to also help with some info: I am running 285/35/20 tires on the front with 10" wide wheels with a +35 offset, and the rears are 305/35/20's on a 10.5" wide wheel with a +50 offset. I'm lowered on Steeda ultimate handling springs which have me lowered about 3/4" all around. The rears are flush and the fronts are tucked in a little. I was even lower before on Eibach pro-kits and didn't rub anywhere and I had an 11" wide wheel in back with a 315/35/20 tire. I don't rub now either by the way, and never had to mess with the camber before or now.

You are flush with the exact wheel and tire sizes he's proposing but yours are +50 offset. The OP's option with his wheels is +35.

Understood, just throwing some first hand experience info out there.

My biggest concern is rubbing. I don’t mind throwing on a spacer to get flush fitment but i just am sceptical of spending the money and having rubbing issues. If I go with the the sizes listed do you think I will have any troubles?

The smaller offset number means you will poke out 15mm further than his 50mm offset wheels in the rear. I would think that presents a good chance to rub when going over bumps, but again I'm not sure whether using negative camber, etc. could address it.

Did you notice more tramlining with the 11" wheel/wider tire? Looking to move up to some wider wheels in the back (currently have 10" on 285/35/19), but don't know if the increase in tramlining will make me regret that decision lol

Going from the 10" wide wheels at the time (Niche Targa's) to the 11" wide wheels (MRR M600's) in the back I'd have to say no, not really. When I first went to the 285 width tire in the front, then I felt it a little, but it isn't anything too crazy. I just like the wider rubber for the kind of driving I do. I'm not a 1/4 mile kind of guy.

on the rear you'll be sticking out 8mm and will likely need ~2 deg of camber to change the arc of the wheel under compression to clear the fender, assuming it even clears.

Given that wheel's design an et40 is probably out of the question but I'd ask them if they'll do a custom cut. Personally I would pick a different wheel that isn't targeted at rice where those kinds of offsets are typical.

Have you considered TSW Wheels?

Plus there's Asanti, Niche etc. I wouldn't get wed to the notion of 20" wheels either.
