Oil slick blue -purple isn't much better, looks like a cool color but stupid sounding name

What's up with the name "Eruption Green"? How do you associate green with an eruption?

...Unless the "eruption" is really more of an "assplosion". 😆

More like the eruption you'll experience when you see how nice that color is in person.

I'm really hoping we get to see some of these new colors on the Mustang soon.........so those two images above get relegated to a previous page 🤮

“You can get it in any color you want as long as it’s black”
Ford’s going back to its roots 🤣

October 11th can't come soon enough, but before then, when will Ford announce officially? Should we expect on Oct 11th or sometime before that?

I'm planning on ordering a '22 in that new green on the 11th, I called my dealer last week and he said they still don't have any pamphlets or literature with the new colors.

It's going to be tempting if Eruption Green or the Blue/Purple colors are available on the '22 Mach 1, let alone the GT. I'll have my EcoBoost halfway paid off by August...do I go all in on my dream then or wait for the '24/'26 Mustangs? (Sad that all it takes is genuinely interesting colors to potentially change up my car goals.)

My advice is look at the colors in person, When I bought my mustang I went to the dealership to look at rapid red and ended up leaving with velocity blue.

Bear in mind I am from the U.K., but it took a trip to the states to see grabber lime in person and the confidence for me to order it.

My dealer only got the paint sample after my car was here and it was late enough that the 2020 order book had already closed … :cwl:

As the sample was worthless to my dealer and I was the only lime car they sold, it now lives in my car file :
