How much price difference is a 21gt premium vs gt Mach 1 premium?
3k if you max out GT with Performance pack and Magneride vs maxed out Mach 1 without the handling package. That's what I got from the Ford's configurator few days ago.

You're not alone, I'm not a huge fan of the look either.
I don't love the look of the standard Mach 1, but exactly opposite for the handling pack. The color, wheels, spoiler, love the whole package. Add in the tremec, it checks "most" of the boxes. Wish the HP was closer to the GT350 with the reliability of the 5.0, but really like the package overall.

How could it be any closer to the 350 without being a 350? The only thing it’s missing is the brakes.

Exactly what I was going to say. We still have to wait and see, but I’m still betting that the Mach is gonna be within spitting distance of a GT350 on track with a manual, and faster with an auto

Hmm, did anyone else notice that Magneride is no longer offered at all as in independent option? It's now EB/HPP+HP or Mach1. If you want it on a GT you're SOL (per build+price)

I personally would put a 1.5-2" wide stripe down the center hood 'penis'.

It is listed as a standalone, but you are required to add the performance package to the car first to get magneride. So by the time you add both those on, the Mach 1 isn't too far away on pricing.

On paper, there may be only $4k difference between a loaded PP1 MR and a Mach. But actual transaction prices delta will be closer to $12K. The GT's can usually be found for substantial discounts; the Machs will be marked up over sticker.
But I would use the sticker price delta to rationalize the value! 😁

7% off MSRP all day every day at Grainger Ford in Iowa. You're a chump if you pay even just MSRP.
A 'loaded' GT can be had for 7-10% off MSRP before piling on factory rebates to get you into the 13-15% off MSRP bracket.

$4000+ has been the average savings from MSRP on Mach 1 Quotes I've sent out.

The Mach 1 has never has a bespoke steering wheel, so no reason to expect one on the '21 :)
Meh, be cooler if it did.

Ok I get no Mach 1 on the steering wheel cover, but Ford professes this Mustang replaces the GT350, and track ready, then why no flat bottom and no Center Line stripe on top, too costly to have different steering wheels?

Agreed, that’s why I already have a GT350R steering wheel set aside to put in my Mach 1 lol
