Because it’s Oxford white, not FJG

Look at the accent stripes... they’re red, not orange

The Mach 1 fender badges don't really stand out too well on the Fighter Jet Grey. They kinda blend in with the paint. I thought they were supposed to be black with the silver outline trim, which would help it be seen a bit more. This badge looks almost all brushed with no black.
But the white one sure looks good!
i know, on the fjg the side decals blend in when looked at from an angle but from straight on you probably can see them better . haven't seen any pics. the tail decal looks a lot better though i think.

I have to say, white looks super. I was down to silver or white and was leaning silver. Now I'm leaning white again.

I realize this is a GT500 but you get the contrast with the Iconic silver and the black. Plus the Mach I has red accents which I think will look better than the GT500:

For those bitching about the fender gap .................. It is necessitated for loading/unloading purposes. Without it, the front splitter would not clear the brake over point on the loading/unloading ramps. That is why the GT350's and 500's are lower deck only and, loaded butt end first at the rear of the transport. The factory places large window stickers on those cars indicating both loading and vehicle placement. Most never see these as many dealers remove them during the PDI process.
