Typical haters when a new re-design is introduced. All you haters will be jumping on the S650 bandwagon once it takes off like the S550 did. Everyone was talking trash on the S550 as well. smh

Having said that, this rendering is trash. I take the DH instead.
Or you know....we just don't like the way it looks. Crazy. And could there be a more cringe name than Darkhorse lmao...what are we 12? Enjoy it though bro.

No I am good, I am happy with mine. I wasn't even directing this to you, just an observation.

Wow, designing a new Mustang after the beautiful S550 and S197 was an uphill battle. Even the classic Shelby design cues can't help the S650.

I think that the question would be how could they make it better? The S650 doesn't appear to have lost any weight. Would they go beyond 760-hp? Not sure if there is an upgraded transmission out there above what we already have. Maybe improve the launch ability over this model? Maybe they will follow Chevy's Z06 lead and go with a much more powerful 5.0 or 5.2 N/A motor?

I like to disassemble things.
The dual intake for twin throttle bodies is the only thing I like about the S650. It is what should have come on the GT350 back in 2015 when were told that feature was not possible.

That bit puzzles me a little when it comes to just putting it on a CPC 5.0, surely a large enough single throttle body would suffice.

If that had been present on the GT350, Ford could have used the "proper" FPC...

and there lies the problem. you can't hide weight. The S650 should have started with a lighter chasis, but the problem is cost. The 500 is a great performer at certain tracks, but its weight keeps it from being a true performer on a technical track.

Had they lightened the S650 significantly, I'm afraid it would bring the cost up on every model of the car. The mustang line's claim to fame is performance at a bargain, or a price point. Make the car significantly lighter, and that drives the cost way up. Does anyone think the average ecoboost or GT cares about weight for track performance? Nope, not at the point of pricepoint.
