It’s not the APIM.
In base models it’s the ACM.
Check the wiring diagram.
Audio out to speakers is always in the ACM, same with signal to the amplifiers in enhanced audio systems.
Also the A2B bus is with new ACMs. The APIM only has audio output to the ACM for USB and Navigation.
In enhanced audio systems (Shaker, Sony et.al) the signal incoming to the amps is always fullrange.
