So you're saying that an 2LT C8 RIGHT NOW is around 90k, but the Z06 wont be over 100k?
Do you believe you will get a Z06 a new one, under 100k?
no idea because GM hasn't published the MSRP as yet AFAIK. But thousands of people will be buying them for MSRP. Other (foolish) people who want to pay a lot more, will.

I'm sure they will be, I don't think they will be getting them under 100k. I think a Z06 will be in the area of 115-125k

2023 Corvette Stingray will be priced from $63,195 including a $1,295 destination/freight charge
which is only a $1000 increase over 2022. In the teeth of 20% inflation across many factors, either GM is taking it the shorts, or they have long-term price contracts that are shielding them for the time-being. Granted the Stingray price may be deliberately insulated from price pressure and thin margins will be made up in Z51 package price, and a healthy margin pad levied on the Z06. Who knows. But I doubt Z06 pricing is going to be a big outlier.

2023 MY starts in May (talk about backing the calendar up) so pricing should be forthcoming real soon.

They've said the difference would be similar to previous years so 40-50% premium on the base car. So $63k for base to $88-95k. It'll crack over 100k with all the taxes added in for everyone most likely.

ADMs make it another thing entirely, but as mentioned there's plenty of dealerships that have committed to MSRP orders.

I can barely find a c8 under 100k right now. Unless its a 1LT complete base.

Have you checked with the top three Corvette dealerships in the Country?
I would shop at those dealerships first.

Finding one to buy "right now" and being able to order one under 100k are two completely different things unfortunately. Right now is carrying a hefty markup on the C8s.

2019 Z06 started at $82k. The Z06 had the LT4 which has pretty much the same Gen V small block casting as the Chevy V8 trucks and SUVs, helping reduce the cost of the LT4. C8 Z06 loses that commonality with the entirely new engine. With inflation and R&D I can't see the C8 Z06 starting under $95k msrp, and won't be surprised at $97-98k "base" msrp. Maybe GM will surprise us like they did with the base '20 C8, but that new engine had a lot of development hours and it is unique to the Z06 (higher tooling costs), and all that needs to be paid back.

That said, even at $100k, it will be a good deal, considering it will run with the Ferraris and Lambos of the world.

I am thinking 130K all in on the Z07, then ADMs. Noticed Blaq is jumping into a 500, tell him to look me up here.

The wait time on a C8 order is around 10 months at MSRP. Pricing only went up $1200 on the base. The options are basically the same. No pricing on Z06 yet.
On a wait list # 395 at Ciocca Chevy at MSRP. $5K deposit back in 11/21 . Est Z06/ 2ZL. $97K
Owned a 2021 GT500 paid $3K over sticker last year. Best GT500 ever.

20,368 C8’s 2020
26,216 C8’s 2021
19,622 C8 2022 built so far. Est 25,000 C8’s
May 9th 2023 Start up.

In 2020, GM only sold a TOTAL of 21,627 Corvettes.

In 2021 they sold 33,000.

Maybe they will eventually sell 30,000 Z06s, but it will be years and years.
Here are the production #s for the C8

The Pace Car(Safety Car) in Formula 1 is driven by some jerk that is always getting complaints that he can't set a pace fast enough for the cars during a yellow.
is that *really* the fault of the (woman :) ) driver though?
It seems it's the "ghay" rally-type duo having to call out the corners as they come up from the log book that's hindering forward progress at an acceptable clip.

This might be the first Chevy worth looking at. And no, I wouldn't be giving up my GT
LOL, this is a really funny statement. I love Mustang GT's, and have one myself, but you are acting like you own a Ferrari.

The C8 Z06 will be a world class sports car, and has a starting price of $106k with a LONG wait list to get one, or else you will be paying $200k or more.

And what about previous corvettes like the C6 Z06, C7 Z06, ZR1's? How about just the stingray? None of them even worth considering or can hold a candle to your Mustang GT? lol come on, dude.

I'm not a brand loyalist, I've had a C5 Z06, C6 Z06, and a C8, also a few TA WS6's, and several mustangs. I love them all and know where each one lies in the pecking order.

How'd you react if a Focus owner said the new GT500 might be the first Mustang worth looking at but he's not giving up his focus! lol.
