never in the history of car making has the same year had two different generations of cars. The S650 will not be a MY23.

2004 F150 had the all new body style, and they ALSO had the "Heritage" body style for 2004 - and also the LIghtning - both of those used the 97-03 body/interior

They also built 1997 F150 along with 1996 F150 in the "old" square body style together....although they were just built at the same time, not the same model year.

So they don't, but they have on a technicality.

With this logic, then S550 for another full year run in 2023? I'm hopeful the January 1st 2023 production is the new S650.

no way in hell.
Though given the 2 week summer vacation, it's conceivable they'll build the basic EB/GT S550 until 6/30 or a cut-off just before that. spend the back half of July on retrofit and start 'MY24 S650' in late summer. Basically the same sort of schedule Corvette is doing for their 'MY23 Z06' production which is already underway now.
