It's almost like you don't really want more displacement and more power. I do.

This is a good place to tell Ford and their competitors what we want. I think the Dodge competitor to the Mustang is too large and heavy, but I like what Dodge is doing with larger engines. Ford may never get my money again if they don't make small cars and their Mustang is emasculated.

If you like porky cars with small engines or really complex hybrids - definitely speak up.



To me it's important to consider the entire package. I think the 2.3T would be more than impressive in my Fiesta ST, but in the Mustang it's ok, not great.



Yes, around 580 would be a good hp total and I would buy a new regular GT (not a limited production car that dealers mark up to a higher price) if it stayed at a reasonable weight and had that amount of power.

I think even better would be to get the car down to 3200-3500 lbs...

Weight is everything!

Can't get more than 350 hp to the ground on the street with rwd anyway, and more HP only usable on Autobahn at night, or track, or posing at cars and coffee - all fun things.

that is hardly true at all though, it maybe was 50 years ago. but with tire compounds (and tire widths....), modern suspensions, better weight transfer, it is entirely possible to use more horsepower on the street.

That would be a no. Unless Ford makes the charge in the guide. It’s happened before so never say never.

Actually this combo is available on the GT premium 400a. Tan is not available with any color on the 401a.

Yeah I thought so. Ceramic & tan have never been made available on the S550 premier trim. I wish it was. I wanted tan with my Ruby Red 15’

If Mach 1 2021 had 5.2 Aluminator 580 hp and didn't cost significantly more, I would have bought it. It doesn't exist so I bought my Mach 1. And I don't intend to ever replace it. It'd be a wet dream anyway, it would never be sold here in Europe, not this year and especially not any time in the future. We can be glad that we got those 25 Mach 1's as is.

Dream your dream, nothing wrong with that. Or get a Procharger, 650 hp and stop dreaming.
