Has anyone gotten a build date for a Mischievous Purple order? I see it's late availability, and saw someone with an Eruption Green (also late availability) order got a build date in early Feb. Just wondering if Mischievous might be around the same time. I ordered at the end of December btw
Iirc they are the same date. Doesn’t mean your car is then but we should start seeing more real pictures.

Is there no build & price live configurator? Or even a price list for 2022 MY? Looking to price one out and cannot even do it effectively

Asked and answered numerous times already. No the 22’ configurator is not up yet. No one knows when it will be. Want pricing info? Contact a dealer. They have everything.

my local dealer is working up 2 quotes for me right now. They claimed they are allowing me to stack X-plan with 2000 of "incentives" before even applying Ford's current pitiful $500 cash. I'll post the deal sheet when I get it later today hopefully.

No offense to Chapman and Granger's 4% below Invoice efforts leading the way and disrupting the gouge'm quo, but this should beat it handily by another 2-3%.

Please let us know if this deal goes through. Your dealer may get a wave of orders if it does!

I presume any incentives are stackable on top of Grainger etc prices. Most incentives aren't available on Shelby's and Mach 1's and neither is X-Plan. Just in case some didn't know.

I was told incentives could be added at delivery. I'm assuming specifically dealer rebates, so things like private cash and military rebate but x-plan doesn't provide extra dealer rebate.

What incentives are you getting that add up to $2,000? I received a price from Chapman and was the 4% under invoice. Waiting to hear back what to do to put the order in.

Ford doesn't have the $1,000 off on orders anymore? Would be a bummer if there are good incentives now but none when you take delivery.

discounts. So true to form Koons word-smith'd their way out of honoring the THRICE repeated "yes we can do that" when it came time to put numbers on paper.

The 1000 ford credit for placing an order might still be active, but it doesn't seem like it. MY22 don't have the $500 Ford Consumer Cash. But X-plan has a 'Built for Growth AXZD customer cash $500' using Program code 14048 or 91746.

In any event $1000 in "rebates" and marking down the $900 proccessing fee to the X-plan value of $100 was another $800 'discount'. So they still came up short by $200, but also didn't honor the intent.

By my calc Chapman et. al. are ahead in price (for my build) of Koons by another $500'ish inclusive of Proc fees. Or put another way Chapman/Granger are writing deals a little over 0.915 of MSRP with Chapman around 0.927 with their $400 doc fee

So, disappointed but not surprised at Koons behavior, I went down the road to Ourisman in downtown Manassas. Now these guys knocked off $3100 off MSRP to start. Their PROC fee is also a preposterous $900 so it's actually a $2200 discount on 32300 MSRP which pencils out to 6.8%. The limit seems to be 0.92 of MSRP inclusive of Proc Fee, or 0.91 if you push real hard. One of the stripper cars on the lot we got down under 0.91.

So if you want to have no-BS discussion call [email protected] 571-221-3807 to hash out a deal.

Why doesn’t the Ford website have the 2022 Mustang available? It still has the 2021 information?

Because. Hey, that used to work with my kids. :giggle:

Seriously, this is one of the great mysteries of the world. Like where does the “Coyote tick” come from.

I stand corrected. It's still in play.
This pre-order discount incentive – which also excludes the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning, as Ford Authority reported yesterday – takes $1,000 off the cost of a new vehicle that customers order, not in-stock inventory, though almost every vehicle in Ford’s lineup qualifies for it.

How does this work? Do they apply the $1k off at delivery if you ordered? Would you be able to add the current rebates when delivered as well?

Anyone know?
the way Koons wrote up the paperwork they took it off the OTD price. Ourisman embedded into their dealer-discount line. There are no other factory cash rebates currently on MY22. Yes, should there be a factory incentive (eg. MY21 have $500) then you can stack them.

It also can be applied if you are leveraging X-plan.
