So basically Ford says hey, you have X allocation this week.

1. They look for a car that they have parts for, fits into Fords build plans, etc.
2. The pick the lowest priority car that fits
3. All else being equal they'll take the earliest date I think.

It can result in cars being built out of priority order and way out of order date order. Your dealer can mess around with priority to their heart's content as well. Between dealers it gets even nuttier as allocations are given generally on sales, but it results in orders for dealer stock going before customer orders that were place months ago.

Its not random, but with parts shortages its really hard to predict when a particular car is going to get built.

That makes more sense than the way it probably works. I think they use a huge dart board, bingo/lotto balls and a monkey playing pin the tail on the Mustang.

I thought about changing my order to 700A and I was told that the order adjustment would be treated as a new order. Good Luck!

it does not restart the process. HOWEVER if it is a critical change, id have it be a new order. I didnt and my car came fucked up/ optioned wrong

Yup this incompetent administration is destroying the economy and the people who are primarily impacted are the honest hardworking folks not the corrupt politicians.

has nothing to do with "incompetence", it is by intelligent design. The US government is in complete control of the dollar and the top 1% control the government. The government (elites) wants stability above all else. That is why under trump more money was printed multiple times over than ever existed in US history, lowest rates in history, etc. On top of nearly ZERO oversight to free money from the government to corporations. This money inflated assets to historic highs and the elites in the know cashed out in record numbers. It is now time to make the dollar stronger for the elites and ultimately bring back stability. This is what is happening, but will take time for inflation to come back down and as always it (consumer prices) will never be back to where it was before.

My reply was that moving to a later date is moving BACK in my book.

I check on a link I got from an email that I saved on my home computer. I haven't seen anything on it yet, as I don't have a Build DAY or VIN yet, just the build week.

From what I've gathered, if they don't email you that your build date changed, then it doesn't move. At least that's how it's been with mine so far, but my build date is about 5 weeks away.

What color can you NOT get a Mach 1 in that you would have liked to see be a available color?
