They wouldn't DARE hit you with a price rise after what you've been through.Well I got some goodish news today. I still don’t have a delivery date but I do have an invoice. And the price has not changed from the original price quoted in June last year. And the trade in price is also as agreed in December last year. So I’m a happy camper.
To be honest I was expecting it. Inflation, AUD vs USD, extra transport costs with quarantine issue. They wouldn't DARE hit you with a price rise after what you've been through.

I had heard people getting price increases. I made some room in the budget just in case but don't need it now. Might add some dealer extras.
Oh yeah I’d never get any of that stuff. I’ve already planned tint and ceramic paint protection post delivery. Its a trap getting dealer extras , i avoided them all due to being above luxury tax threshold , pay an extra 30% . Better to get them after car delivered , never get tint , paint protection predelivery . You get robbed
Planning on doing the same, when I finally get mine. Watching YT videos by Sandro from Car Craft Detailing, I was quite shocked to see how poor the paint finish on a new Mustang can be. Dont want to sound negative, but I am expecting ours to be even worse as they may have been sitting for longer, have been through more transport channels and now will have received extra de-contamination washdown procedures from our friends in quarantine. Also wonder about the panel fit from factory, given that ours will be the last of the breed to come out of the factory doors at Flat Rock. Bottom line...inspect throughly on delivery and take straight to a good detailer.Oh yeah I’d never get any of that stuff. I’ve already planned tint and ceramic paint protection post delivery.
I meant like floor mats or similar.
Yay. That is awesome news mate. After over 13 months, I am picking my car tomorrow. It was great being able to share my experience with you, it made the wait easier. Thank you again @TTT12 for sharing all the links and updates.
Looking forward to catching up on the forum
Pre Delivery inspection I presume.Anyone o own what “PD” means in the following context?
My dealer replied to an email at 11pm last night and said this.
Xxxxx will be in contact as soon as she has confirmation from PD on the vehicle.
I don’t know what PD is a reference to?

Is Pre Delivery off site? How long does that take?Yup Pre Delivery
You’d think Ford over in America invoice our dealers once the vehicle has left them. Not sure how long dealers wait to pass it on before the actual delivery to us occurs. I got a slight decrease from the original contract so always have in the back of my head it was a mistake and I’ll get slugged lol. I won’t be paying shit thoughTo be honest I was expecting it. It can be offsite for bigger dealers who sometimes have a seperate workshop which looks after multiple brands but normally it’s a part of the service department and done onsite. Is Pre Delivery off site? How long does that take?
