why not have a 6-speed option... would be nice to have a choice as I do not plan to drag the GT500. Porsche eventually offered a 6 speed in addition to their PDK on their GT3.

Doesn't matter if you are going to drag it or not, its made as a whole by the company for the consumer, not individual people, and no one can shift as fast as the DCT, either case being that 2022 is more than likely the last year and there has been no leaks of a possible manual, your holding on to a pipe dream.

Not only that, but do you know the amount of development dollars a comapny has to put into a change like that? They can't just wake up and go, "oh let's put a manual in our GT500" It takes millions in development, safety, re-engineering production lines etc. etc. etc. And good luck with changes while the company is losing 2 billion dollars this year. We are god damn lucky they are still building the car as is.

As much as I am in favor on manual transmissions, the DCT is just so good in this car. Its setup properly and wasnt slapped in.

I wouldnt mind the option, but I wouldnt hold my breath either.

I would take the 7-speed Tremec dual clutch any day over the manual. That said, manual is not happening. There is no way. Good luck.

Eagerly waiting for the 22MY release. We are now less than 4w to orders getting opened for the car, still no new leaks after the colors.
