Ford UK have had a few speciality Mustangs over the years, especially GT500s. The first was a blue '08 GT500 that was used on Top Gear, followed by another blue '13 GT500 which also appeared on Top Gear (with the race against a train, if I recall correctly). They will be loaned out to the motoring press and attend events like Goodwood etc.

Just like the Grabber Lime one below, these can come in as "grey imports". There's an IVA (Individual Vehicle Approval) test they need to pass......think of it as a more intense MOT. That's where the lights have to be modified for UK regs. In this instance, it was easy for them to install some Euro tails, but this is how we've done personal American car imports over the years

I’m ‘think’ Ford U.K. might have a grabber lime 500. It’s still left hand drive, but it has euro tails - I don’t know the history / if it’s official / how it got here etc though

Contrary to regular GT's that go there the GT500's that Ford distributes in the Middle East appear to have the larger export spec side mirrors. So the green car on the line could indeed be a Middle East export spec.

Correct, ES stands for El Salvador. The export code for Spain is SP. As can be seen on my Bullitt window sticker:

I personally don't care for the gold undertone against gloss black but if someone repainted all the black bits bronze and added some brushed bronze wheels to bring out the gold .... ohhh my that would be one beautiful car!

Color choice is the toughest for me and these pics solidified the order I have in for a ‘22 GT500 is Eruption Green! (Black roof and stripe delete)
As you mentioned I’ll be going with CF and bronze accent colors with bronze wheels. Should look killer!
