And I’m sure the few out there with a $50k ADM aren’t really for sale. The dealership owner likely keeps it in the showroom to draw traffic, tells the sales manager to give it a $50k ADM. if on the off chance someone decides to pay it they let it go. Otherwise he or she adds it to their personal collection. The owner of my local Ford dealership got his that way. One of my neighbors owns the local GM dealership and his family has a nice extensive collection including a pristine 63 split window and a 67 427/425 4 speed car with basically no mileage. Guess who gets their first C8 Z06/Z07 package car.
Always has and always will be, people work angles to get what they want. Only the ADM haters/socialists think otherwise. They try and tell me how to spend my money and try to set prices on products they know nothing about. All in the guise of fairness, these unrealistic
expectations just cause angst in their lives, let it go, gnash your teeth on something else.

there's a difference between honest capitalism and thieving price gouging. $50k ADM is the latter.
I agree. But how many are actually sold at that level. I still feel that those are cars they don’t want to sell. Those cars are earmarked for someone but it’s not the general public buyer. Basically eye candy to get the average buyer in then convince them that a GT will do everything they expect for less than half the price

These ADM threads always bring out the best in people.
Everybody has their own opinion about ADM and purchasing these cars. I have a Velocity Blue that I bought with no ADM. People will justify buying over ADM and people will justify why they wouldn't. But to be naive and say there isn't better value for the money, or these are "collector cars" is being just plain uneducated about both. But I'm not sure what I was to expect out of a forum dedicated to Furds. Maybe some common sense?

Naivety about better value? What categories make for better value? 1/4 mile times, track times, looks, price, ride, size, highway manners, color offerings, loyalty, available options, exclusiveness, personal budget, top speed, aftermarket options, etc? Everyone should prioritize these values and more exactly like you? It must be hard to decide what everyone values

I talked to my dealership and they will allow you to order and spec their allocation but they want 10k over. They are a small town dealer so I would think you could get them down to 5k over or a little less. I have a good relation with them and got their 2021 allocation for sticker so if anyone is interested message me and I will give you the salesman contact info.

I spent weeks calling and emailing dealers all over the country before I found one willing to sell me a 2022 at MSRP.
My best advise is to avoid big dealers, and instead focus on small to medium sized dealers about 1 to 2 hours away from any major population centers, preferably in a non-affluent area.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but you probably won't EVER see that car. Furthermore, how do you know that dealership even has an allocated unit to sell you. You can't JUST order a GT500 because your a Ford dealer - lol ... 🤣 🤣 🤣 but they can take your deposit and tell you they are and will ...

I called and emailed a ton of dealerships for 1-2 weeks. All marked up 10K-25K

I feel lucky I was able to get my new 2021 CFTP at MSRP from Sun State Ford in Orlando, FL

they did have a 10K ADM which I refused to pay and with no hassle they agreed to leave at MSRP. 3 hour trip up north but worth it. I took it home last week :)

I'm one of the guys that will flat out refuse to pay an ADM. I can fully afford a new GT500, but thew principle of ADM's just irks me. I have a friend who manages a Ford dealer, and I have bought my last 6 new Fords from him, and even he won't sell me a gt500 at msrp. If I knew I could get one at msrp, I would sell my car in a heartbeat and run out to grab one.

As others have commented, it might be possible to find one at MSRP, but it will take a lot of leg work on your part. If the principle of paying ADM irks you, you might have to wait and buy a lightly used one in a couple of years.

After many months of searching in 2019, I bought my 2018 GT350 with only 1200 miles for $11K under MSRP and sold it two weeks ago for a $13K profit. (Yes, I sold my three year old car for $2K over MSRP) I am not in a hurry, so I will wait for the right GT500 deal to come along.

Don’t be rude because you are jealous. My dealership ship sold gt500’s in 2021 and 2020, and my order is confirmed through Ford Performance.
But hey, anything can happen. They won’t start issuing vins until probably January, and I won’t see the car until April at the earliest, which leaves plenty of time for shit to go south.
