I just got mine. There IS a difference between this new metallic version and the older non-metallic. It is subtle and can only be seen up close.

Love metallics! Nothing like that sparkle in the sun.

This version "glows" more in the sun.

I'm a metallic-only guy and usually shy away from the louder colors, but if I were ordering today it would be this version of GB first and Eruption Green second.
