Wow.. just wow
Do you have a signed pricing sheet… because part of me wonders if this is the call to Ford asking if they can raise the price on you.

it shouldn’t be a question really. You’re paying MSRP right. And dealers can sell cars for whatever they want
They're salty because I do have a signed pricing sheet for 2% under invoice and are fighting for every penny.

All of a sudden, not sure if I am getting it today… Had a feeling something like this would happen based on the way this whole process has gone with this dealer.

Asked them to confirm that the front fender flares are installed. They said none were in the car. I said they should have been shipped separately to your parts department, and provided them with @Epiphany ‘s Ford dealer communication that explains that they are shipped separately. The dealer says they do not have them, and don’t know when they will get them.

More importantly, they are not honoring my pre-June 1 pricing. I passed along a link to a post on blue oval forums saying that retail orders are price locked, but they are saying they have to wait until Monday to verify with Ford.
UPDATE:

They will include the flares on the we-owe form. With Flat Rock being down last week, I wonder if they are just lagging a few days behind the car.

They also got confirmation from their rep that yes, pre-June 1 orders are price locked to the old pricing. HOWEVER they asked if I would do them a favor and buy at the new invoice price, and then put on the we-owe form that they'll send a check for the difference between the old and new invoice prices when they get it in a couple months, so they don't have to show selling the car at a loss on their books. Told them that's fine.

if granger and Chapman can sell for 3-4% below invoice, they arent losing money. Especially if you service the car there

Does that mean you can pick it up today and get the flares installed when they come in?

Chapman told me the only way the price is not protected is if your order flips from a 2021 to a 2022. FYI.
Make sure you use the internet if the dealer gets shady on you!

So my Ford tracking site still shows a checked blue dot on "in production" 9/28 and a highlighted dot for "built" 9/29 and awaiting shipment.

BUT -

The dealer just called me and

IT'S HERE YEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Picking it up tomorrow afternoon!

Don't expect to be sleeping much tonight...
Awesome, I kept checking back to see when you got yours. I hope its everything you wanted. Happy for ya

that not necessarily true, if they do not have the volume of granger or chapman, their hold back is not as big. also, the june 1 price just was not small. like 3-4%. so a 2% difference could easily be eaten up there.

So, let me get this straight Mike. Another forum member has seen your car in person before you did?

Welcome home baby.

Not gonna lie, I was actually nervous to start it and intimidated to drive it off the lot!

I was very surprised at how much different the silver looks in person, really love it.

The first thing my wife said was she loves the color. She then videoed me standing next to it, swearing that I will never buy another Mustang! 😂
