Delivery went fine. Other than some rear bumper damage from transport. Chapman sales rep said they would take care of me and to get a local quote back home to repair it

Interesting .... I had a small but deep scratch on the rear quarter. They told me about it before I went to get the car. They offered to fix or order another car (Yea right, LOL) . I told them give me the paint and don t touch it. I touched it up and you can t see it.

Finally picked up my FJG from Granger last weekend. Drove it all the way home from IA to TX. Appreciate @Jay at Granger who was up front regarding a few blemishes that I’ll get fixed under warranty down here (if not Granger offered to reimburse me). Great experience at Granger.

Does warranty cover blemishes from factory

I had two on mine that picked up from Chapman yesterday

I didn t look mine over with a magnifying glass, I don t want to know.

Not sure, plan to take it to local dealer soon. I have 1 paint blemish & some bubbling on stripe.

Congrats! Are those spec'ed same wheels as the PP2, different sizing, correct?

That looks to be shipping damage. A good polishing by machine may even clear that up esp the front.

Yes, same design, 9.5" and 10" instead of 10.5" and 11". FP makes both sets in black, these are magnetic like PP2 wheels.

What @cerbomark said. I am sure the front can be polished…and even the rear bumper. If you know of a good detailer, they may be able to give you a better opinion. Otherwise, looks like damage during transport. Worse would be replacing the rear bumper with a new one (not sure if I would allow Ford to refinish and re-spray the bumper).

It’s been a long long crazy road.. but taking delivery this morning on my 2021 Mach 1 Premium from Chapman Ford. I drove 9 hours yesterday to come get the car.

Glad your able to swap your rides and get the Mach 1. Silver is great!

Is that bone stock??? The wheel gap and offset is incredible... I thought the track was narrower up front, and the fenders stuck out over the wheels as a result in other pictures I've seen.

Front can be polished. Rear is $850 repair

the dealer said it’s not the worst transport damage they seen. They once had a strap come loose and beat the snot out of a customer’s GT500 order. Dented the car up and shattered windows. It was pretty much flapping in the wind and hitting the car. $8000 of damage. Customer refused the order.

Transport driver tried blaming it on someone throwing a brick from another moving vehicle

I am leary about taking a car off a dealers lot that needs "work." Once you have it and deals done they incentive is lost. Especially if you have another dealer handling fix. Good luck!
