2021 Mustang Paint Color Options Revealed

The 2 character codes like D4 are only guaranteed unique within a model year but unlikely Ford would reuse one for a different color so soon. Do they both have the same M code (M7444)? The M codes are never reused.

Also, one word of caution.....unless I'm mistaken, Lucid Red was the original name for Rapid Red, before it was renamed for the '20MY. Of course, they could be looking to rename it again, or changing the hue again slightly.

I encountered a Ford Engineer at the Friends of Steve McQueen car show a few years back, and during a discussion like this he said something to the effect, "At that stage of production it requires just an extra handful of (something) tossed into the cauldron, to make a practically universal change." So I wouldn't expect all such chips to be exactly what we'll see when the actual objects make it into the real world.

GT350 is not coming for the 2021 model year so it's a safe bet it'll be available on the other models.

Very true seems Ford doesn't want us to have Gray unless it's on a F150 or a 60k plus specialty Mustang. I've seen plenty of regular Toyolets, Nissans and Hondas sporting nice gray jobs.

The fact there are 3 blues and ALL are metallic to me is whats wrong with Ford. I VERY rarely like metallic colors. JUST MAKE A DAMN NORMAL BLUE!

Curious to see what the Antimatter blue looks like. Having 2 reds... eh I don’t know. My choice would be one of the grays or white. I’d like to see how the grays turn out.

I get constant compliments at events on Guard. Such a neat color. Color with the monochrome-like class.

With the Bullitt gone this year I bet we see another darker green in 2022.

I'm guessing it's like "Alto blue", which is currently on the 2020 Fusion.

Which is like the old 'Ink Blue'

Ugh that hurts, was hoping to get some nice interior upgrades and whatnot on a Grabber Lime 2021 :( now im super torn. Do I go back to my 2nd choice color which I guess from this lineup would be Lucid Red, or get a 2020 Grabber Lime and miss out on whatever possible improvements in the 2021? Guess ill have to wait for more info on the 2021 changes.

Just choose the easiest color to get and repaint the car in two years like I plan to because the paint is absolute shit. Biggest disappointment on my car.
