I can see the handling package being late. I believe when the PP2 was first released they did late delivery. I don't think they wanted people running around in cold weather on SC2 tires.

Hoping I'll be able to find a leftover 2021 Mach1 later for a good deal. If it's basically a slightly upgraded PP2 with slightly more power, better trans and coolers I can get what I want with a warranty instead of throwing thousands at my car.
That is my plan of action. Why trade a nearly new HEP w/15K highway miles on the clock.

Why not? They sell cars with the skinny pzero's, and those are garbage in good weather.
Then ya gonna look like a ricer ...................

Hopefully, the Mach1 runs to the end of the S550 cycle. With Ford already telling us the S650 will ride on the current Explorer chassis, that is going to be one ugly car. Either to much overhang, elongated wheelbase or worse, both.

How does the Steeda Clutch Spring feel? softer?
you can't feel the Steeda spring. All it's doing is pushing the lever back up to 'home' position instead of flopping about. What you feel is the hydraulic pressure on the piston instead of some amorphous 'where the hell is the bite point' you get with the inscrutably stupid Ford choice.

The steeda clutch spring provides more positive engagement . Less assist provides a stiffer feel. Im definitely glad I have it.

And again. The S650 is "not" going to be built on an Explorer chassis. The CD6 platform is a multi-use platform to be used on a number of different vehicles. The Explorer is just one of them. The S650 will be a Mustang just like a S550. Just better (we hope).

Question about deletion of paddle shifters in the Mustang EcoBoost Fastback (P8T/99H/44U), package 100. Order guide has 10 speed SelectShift automatic transmission available in packages 100 and 101. Order guide also shows the SelectShift and paddle shifters are only available with package 101. So how can SelectShift be available in package 100 without paddle shifters?

The order guide has numerous typos. This could be one them. Cannot image why the would remove the paddles.

Paddle Shifters are not included next year when you order 100A, probably for cost reasons. But ordering the High Performance Package will get you the paddle shifters, even if you didn’t order 101A. Ordering 101A will always get you paddles regardless if you have High Performance or not.

Hope this helps. I’ll also be ordering a 6MT EcoBoost soon.

Where did I you see that? GT is the same as EB.
The GT has had rev-match since '19. The EB picked it up in 2020. I'm not sure if it was turned on for just HPP or the whole spectrum (with 101A/201A).

I think EcoBoost only has rev matching on up shifts, which is only a partial rev matching. EcoBoosts still don’t have downshifting on rev matching in my understanding.

You said, "pull on the paddles". I thought you were referring to the A10. Never mind. :giggle:

Rev matching is technically only on downshifts. EB's do not have rev matching of any kind.
