Right! And I thought I read it several times, except the part "how we test our cars"It’s just below that part:
The Mach 1's stopping power comes from 15.0-inch front and 13.0-inch rear iron rotors, and it stops quicker from 70 mph than the GT350 and GT500, requiring 141 feet to both the GT350R's 146 feet and the GT500s' 150 feet. The Bullitt needed 165 feet to come to a halt from 70 mph.
LOL Matt oh will you just quit fighting it and buy a Mach already? You know you want one!never!
So 2 seconds better than the almost identical PP2 (same tires, different trans, no coolers). At least it's still a chasmic 3.5 seconds faster than the SS/1LE which only costs 25% less...
(PS. I'll go back to my "mach1 is a rip-off" thread now...)
PP2 was on my wishlist for a long time, then I read they don't sell it in Europe. You always get the best stuff for lot cheaper... At least here the rest of the world got some dibs officially too, that's important for us Improved automatics too, yay.So 2 seconds better than the almost identical PP2 (same tires, different trans, no coolers).
The looks make up for it and exceed it by far For me at least, but guess for many others too.At least it's still a chasmic 3.5 seconds faster than the SS/1LE which only costs 25% less...
I'm pretty sure there is quite a bit more that is different in the Mach 1 with HP compared to the GT PP2 than just the transmission and coolers... For one, it has the GT350 intake and a tune giving it 20 more hp. Plus, there are a few more go-fast bits in suspension, steering, and aero.So 2 seconds better than the almost identical PP2 (same tires, different trans, no coolers). At least it's still a chasmic 3.5 seconds faster than the SS/1LE which only costs 25% less...
you, me, PItt Race this summer...LOL Matt oh will you just quit fighting it and buy a Mach already? You know you want one!
after experiencing the rev matching I need it haha. A buddy of mine has the same one you have and loves it.I have a Xingeering rev matching module on my base 2019 GT350 and it makes a difference. You can shift as needed to stay in the powerband without being a heel-toe master.
I love the rev matching, my only complaint is that it does nothing to help the synchros, because it doesn't know you're shifting until you're entering the gate. A manual rev match gets the engine to the correct rpm before you enter the gate, giving the synchro minimal work to do.after experiencing the rev matching I need it haha.
